Dennis de Hoog.

For more than 25 years, Dennis has worked at the intersection of technology, organisations and strategic IT challenges. As Chief Commercial Officer, he focuses on how organisations can structure their IT so that cloud, data, security and AI reinforce one another rather than developing as separate domains.

For Dennis, a well-considered technology strategy does not start with a product or platform, but with the way an organisation’s choices fit together. Cloud, data, security and AI each come with their own challenges, yet in practice they are becoming increasingly interdependent. What drives him in this work is the challenge of making complex topics easy to understand. Cloud, data, security and AI can easily become buried in technical jargon. By explaining them in plain language, executives, IT teams and the business can develop a shared understanding and make decisions together. That is where clear direction begins.

His background in cybersecurity has strongly shaped this perspective: technology never stands on its own. Processes, responsibilities and the people who work with it are just as important in determining how well technology functions within an organisation.
