Good news! Starting November 1, Microsoft Teams will once again be available bundled with Microsoft 365 and Office 365 products.

Some time ago, Microsoft removed Microsoft Teams from the Office 365 E3/E5 and Microsoft 365 E3/E5 suites in Europe, and instead offered them as a combination of products: Microsoft 365 E5 EEA and Microsoft 365 E3 EEA, plus a separate Microsoft Teams Enterprise EEA. This followed a complaint by Slack about Microsoft’s unfair competitive position.

Good news!
On September 12, Microsoft reached an agreement with the European Union that, starting November 1, it will once again be possible to purchase Microsoft 365 E3 and Microsoft 365 E5 including Teams.

Customers who previously had the right to a suite including Teams sometimes faced challenges, as they had both suites with Teams and suites without Teams within their tenant. This made assignment problematic.

Microsoft has agreed with the European Union to now apply a price difference between suites with Microsoft Teams and suites without Microsoft Teams, with the difference based on a price of 8 euros per month for a variant including Teams.

Starting November 1, these products will be back on Microsoft’s price list, and we will be able to support customers in resolving mixed situations that may have arisen!
