On September 25, we gathered for a new edition of the Innovation Circle – a moment where technology, adoption, and real-world experience intersect. Once again, it became clear: the community is the driving force.

We didn’t just look at what Copilot can do today, but at how organizations will use it tomorrow to create real impact.

Agents in Action

A key theme of this edition: Copilot Agents.

We asked the community which agents are already running within their organizations – and the examples were truly inspiring:

πŸ‘₯ HR Agent – centralizes handbooks and policies in one place. Employees find answers instantly, while HR teams can focus on strategic work.
🎯 Marketing Agent – safeguards the corporate tone of voice. From emails to campaigns, brand identity remains consistent.
πŸ“‹ User Story Assistant – transforms raw input into structured scrum stories. Agile teams work faster, sharper, and with less manual effort.

These stories show one thing: agents are no longer the future. They’re already here, running, and transforming daily work.

The Technical Puzzle

After the real-world examples, we dove into the technical side.

We discussed, among other things:

  • Integration with existing systems such as SharePoint

  • Metadata processing as the key to smarter search results and context

  • The importance of dashboards and feedback loops to make usage and adoption visible

As Peter Usmany put it: “Without feedback and governance, an agent will never mature. You need to know what works – and especially what doesn’t.”

The conclusion? The puzzle pieces are already there. The real challenge is putting them together so agents can seamlessly integrate into the workplace.

Adoption as a Gamechanger

Technology alone is not enough – everyone agreed on that.

One participant openly shared that their organization is rolling out 1,000 Copilot licenses per batch. A huge step forward, but it also revealed a challenge: the document management system was not yet in order.

This shows why adoption programs are crucial. Without proper information management and guidance, the power of Copilot gets stuck in practice.

In this context, Wortell shared several customer success stories: organizations that, with a clear adoption program – including training, communication, and governance – not only roll out Copilot but truly embed it into their DNA.

The Power of Community

What made this Innovation Circle special once again was the honesty of the conversations. No one said: “We have everything under control.” Instead, people shared what’s going well, where the challenges lie, and how we can help each other move forward.

Femke Cornelissen captured it perfectly:
“Feedback is always the fuel. Only by sharing what you see and experience can we make Copilot better – within your own organization, and as a community.”

Looking Ahead

The Innovation Circle is growing. With every session, more stories, insights, and energy come together to take the next step forward.

Next month, we’ll once again dive into practice and look further ahead. One thing is certain: the journey with Copilot has only just begun – and we’re making it together. πŸš€
