​Microsoft offers a Two Factor Authentication (2FA) solution in Azure called Azure Multi Factor Authentication (MFA). Azure MFA is a flexible subscription based solution to secure Azure Cloud services as well as on-premises services. Together with fellow RDS MVP Kristin Griffin, I co-authored an article on how to secure Remote Desktop Services with Azure MFA. In this article we'll cover how to set up Azure MFA and configure RD Gateway to force users to authenticate using Two Factor Authentication and allow for a smooth integration for the end user.
